The CATALIS Culinary Leadership Assessment is a situational judgment assessment built specifically for restaurant and culinary professionals. It measures five composite leadership competencies: Resilience & Adaptability, Communication & Active Listening, Problem Solving & Decision Making, Teamwork & Collaboration, and Emotional Intelligence — the skills that determine whether people follow you, trust you, and grow under your leadership.

Unlike personality tools like DiSC or Myers-Briggs, or technical credentials like ACF certifications, CATALIS measures learnable leadership behaviors. Restaurant managers, executive chefs, culinary school students, and foodservice professionals use it to understand where they lead well and where targeted development will have the most impact.

The assessment is free, takes approximately 15 minutes, and generates a personalized leadership report upon completion.
